Here's the latest info I have from the team: Pack flexibility! :) It sounds like they are LOVING every minute of their time there, but it also sounds like they are learning about just trusting in God's plan for their days. These lessons actually began before we even left for Costa Rica (for example: I am in Kansas City, the team is in San Jose). I'm praying that God will continue to teach us to rely on Him and trust only in His plans.
Yesterday they had a free day and here is what they told me about it (thanks Julie for the email):
"We went to a public pool in a jungle and had fruit and sandwiches for lunch. Then went to a mall near by and saw Robin Hood. Then went to McDonalds for lunch. It was an American Day!
Tomorrow were going to a valley and checking out some historic churches and fishing in the river near by. Not sure how it will pan out since all of our plans change every minute. You need to pack flexibility for your time here.
Fernando is the best driver we could have ever asked for. He spent all of the day with us today. He is like a Costa Rican Santa Claus."

Thanks for checking on us and praying for us. We'll write more soon!
ok team what happened to any updates?? I am still thinking that sometime b4 the end of the week Matthew will share with us. I am grateful for all the info and pictures so far but I think I have looked at them and read everyhting at least 100 times. Are all of you anxious to come home? I supppose you will have a hard time saying goodbye to Fernando and the friends you have made there. I will say a prayer for you on that one. Hope you are all doing good.
